Summer 2014 Workshop Facilitated by R.T. Eady, CoFounder
Sole2Soul Healing, Cologne, Germany
As we gain new understandings of integrative practices major challenges are looming in the
field of wellness and health care. One is to integrate technology, mind, and spirit into clinical
practice. The second is to create models of healing and caring that inspire healthcare
providers to become therapeutic facilitators with the patient/family.
Energy medicine, or bioenergetic medicine is one such model and refers to therapies that use an energy fieldelectrical, magnetic, sonic/harmonic/percussive, acoustic, microwave, or infrared to screen for or treat health conditions through the detection and correction of imbalances in the body’s energy fields. Most energy medicine devices are based on the Acupuncture meridian system, where life energy, or chi, flows through the body along energy channels called meridians. Many are quite simple in that they involve selfregulation of posture after brief episodes of subluxation correction.
Two of the many areas that will be explored:
RITUALS OF HEALING
Empathetic Physiology and Compassion
At the core of healing is compassion. As a foundation of caring, the merging of imagery, mind, medicine, and ritual is recognized as immensely effective. This workshop discusses scientific and intuitive data about transpersonal caring, healing, and the process of creating personal rituals. Examples of how healthcare professionals can utilize their knowledge of the psychophysiology of body~mind healing to serve the healing process of their patients and to change the way they themselves heal and provide care.
